Against The Odds

When the world is against you

            A story of a man who had the world to fight and his weapon poetry (mare words) a task I too a long time ago took up the task to play.    I used to hear my uncle Harold read each word so clear each annunciation vibrate and echoed for day, you could see the story being told and unfold you could see each character; you walked away knowing each one by name.   I loved the old one like Dickens, Longfellow, and let me not forget the stories of the bible, yes he did a great job till this day I am still going against the odds.
            But my story is not about me; no it is about a man who has brought a nation out from behind the seen, he cultivated their language to be strong to take form in a time when French had the brew of the day.    But his poetry took Russian culture to new heights; he elevated not only their language and culture he was the great Ice breaker of self-worth for the common Russian His name you ask is Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin in tracing his family roots he came from a black man but there is Russian royalty in the blood line I hold him high and with the trouble he had a persevered through I too can do the same with my set backs.

POET

I grieve!
Yet emotions, excavate through my head.

I panic ----- I can’t speak.
I write of this open wound.
And snitch an emotion you could not convey.

These are the days that rejoice me!
But all my life in a corner I sit,
Motionless!
 No urge to move (Depressed)!

One pint of blood supplies my brain,
Yet! ---- No breathe,
 No oxygen gained!
So!  I sleep till the next earth shattering
Moment!  Which could be brief.

Then armed with pen and paper,
The title comes
A ha; --- Here comes relief!

Now the words run free,
Like streams.
Making their way to the open sea.

And if this frequency does not flow,
This creature here! will die.

And like so many others
Their emotions, their words, their insight
Is the door to their annihilation.

So when you see one, please beware!
That hearty creature delves deep into the human sphere
Read his work, and then you will know
The poet cares.

More Than just Words: Induction

More Than just Words: Induction: "Running from the Dark. In the book of John you will learn about the light of God, the son of God Jesus Christ. He is the light of the world..."

Induction

Running from the Dark.

In the book of John you will learn about the light of God, the son of God Jesus Christ. He is the light of the world and the darkness cannot put out the light; that is the truth and in many others you will find similar stories.

Now is it not the funniest thing that we keep running from this light; the Son of God and stay to the outer edges in the darkness.  Where we are told that mystery heart ache and destruction are; what foolishness! how can we move to a higher place of intelligence if we stand in the dark?  Scream out please for the gift that God has waiting for you wisdom and understanding and you will see that the light will slowly brighten your eyes.  The bible says that the hearts of man is wicked so how can you ever think that you can do right all by yourself? The flesh is weak but the spirit is willing and there goes the great controversy in the minds of man but we need someone to tip the scale like Jesus or we will be tipped the other way by the forces of darkness.

 Induction

The core of my sin is the Devil’s soul passion,
I grit my teeth and close my eyes;
Left are the puncture wounds and dripping blood.

His yell is a screech that commands minions to hold me down and draw more blood,
I punch and bite but to no avail;
Too many to fight, then we succumb.

Our white lies are the first to ease us,
Then we try the old lustful peruse into fleshly delights of man;
Full induction comes way much later but you are left thinking you can deny that command.

The old would say don’t wander the streets after one,
Because there will be a tall stranger who’s whisper soft and tender;
Delights even the most upright man, then it is in the morrow the deeds are uncovered in the light of day in the open sun.
