Mothers who break the sound barrier

Celebrating the unwed mother of plenty

 I have seen and heard people laugh when they see single women who have children or even large amount of children walking into churches unaccompanied by a male, and they say look at this funny thing! Is that not too many children for one woman to have? And she has not man or she has no husband either; or wow! she has such a large undertaking!   The fact is she may not have had much a choice, or that was not the way she worked life out to be in the beginning, and she may have calculated her life to be something totally different.  She may have set her life to be with the father of the children and something went wrong, something unexpected, unknown, a hardship that has laid her here before the eyes of men and in her community naked, and not taken care of as she had planed; and now there is a world of trouble before her (sad and all alone) but she is strong enough and not willing to give up.  So she pushes on with life and drains all the energy out of the blood that she has her veins to make good to her children.
              This great woman walks with her head up high and she tells her children to do the same, and she walks into church and feeds them the only sense of good that she knows how; she does not shed her tears before her children and she shelters them from the pain of shame which she alone bears. Our communities are so hard on this kind of woman, which is unfair!
 Now why shouldn't she be celebrated for what she has been able to do? She puts before mankind children that are more respectful to others and also to themselves and they are serving strong in our communities. I have seen women with less children and more money plague society with little demons; now that is not to say there are not variables or exceptions to the rule!        In either case there are exceptions, which balance out the odds! But it is unfair to not applaud the efforts of this kind of woman.
So with this poem I bring to light women who are supper women in their own rights. And should be given their pedestal, a platform by which we all give praise and honor them.

You have wings, why don’t you fly?

I have watched you push yourself day and night,
To feed your children a Godly meal;
I have watched the glow of Jesus in your eyes,
And the Joy when you sing in the choir!

You ware your heart on the outside of your chest and everyone knows it,
Your life is an open book, dedicated to God on the highest;
I have seen your deepest love for others, streaming straight from above!
So why, Why not fly to the sky? I have seen your wings.

Don’t deny!

You pray to God at least three times a day,
God is your husband, and late at night;
He comes and tucks you in, and watches over you till the break of day!
An Angel I know.

You are not as complicated as some may think,
With a pure heart like that, I know the God’s spirit fills you to the brink;
I really an answer now! My dear is there good reason why?
You have wings so why don’t you just fly?
