What Love?

Love

The word love holds, hope if hope is what you look for?
It can be a flower, joyously flourishing within the heart;
And it stands a stone throw away from hate, a covetous counterpart
God loves, not just because He can give but because He already gave!

Reach out your hand and pick the fruits of love,
Christ has laid them at your feet for your enjoyment.
They are so sweet but there is bitterness in this life at times,
It can bring with it the ugly side to beauty.

The diseases! Are the generational curse that shortens the life of man kind,
But love somehow prevails to keep an even stride.
Love perseveres; it is the true state of faith that hopes,
And hopes are the Godly side of mercy, blessings, and miracles.

I pray not for redo, I pray for His will and my understanding,
I pray for the love of the prophets so that I may love the wicked heart of man.
The love I seek is one that sits in a seat of respect for the word true love,
As it is displayed and told only in truth and spirit.

You may not but I hold myself accountable to you as I am led to,
The need to feed those who are hungry, cloths those who are naked;
The need to pray with those who need to be comforted,
To just take someone’s heart to the savior whenever I go,
The need to do just what is asked of me, and humble myself, to God be praised!

Love has no markers on one’s palms or on their forehead,
Love conquers, and forgives with out condition.
Love is not a feel good remedy for an illness;
Love has no comparison, but bears all compassion.

Love it is always going and doing and never is done,
Love wants you always around, you are the one who walks away;
Christ is love! sacrifice personified,
If you think you love then make the sacrifice.

Inspired by the very words of God through his servant Mathew 5:43-6:1-15
